Privacy notice
This explains what happens to a message you send through the contact form. I am Magnus Elden, and I am responsible for this data.
What is stored
- The email address, subject and message you enter, and the phone number if you give one.
- Your IP address and your browser's user agent, which the form collects automatically to limit spam and abuse.
Why
To read your message and reply to it, and to keep the form from being abused. Your details are not used for marketing and are not shared with anyone. The IP address is used to limit how often one visitor can send messages, and those records are deleted after 24 hours.
How long
Messages are deleted automatically after about 30 days. No backups of them are kept.
Where
Messages are stored with Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany, and only I can read them. When a message arrives I get an email saying that one has arrived, without its content.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your message before it expires, by sending a new message through this form that says which one you mean. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (opens in new tab).
